Project Coordinator (Parks) / Kairuruku Kaupapa (Ngā Pāka)
Porirua’s changing. Thanks to new housing developments, large scale regeneration projects and new transport links, we are rapidly growing into a diverse, well-connected city. With all that in mind it’s an exciting time to join our parks team.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator who has proven skills and experience in programmes and project management. You will have will have attained recognised project methodology and will have transferable skills to enable you to work in the parks field-based environment. You will provide excellent support through all phases of the project life cycle. As our Project Coordinator for Parks you will support the Senior Asset Planner with documentation for project management and procurement processes, you will also plan, monitor and report on the Council Parks portfolio.
You’ll build excellent relationships with stakeholders and you really understand customer service. We always put the customer at the centre of our thinking, so we need smart people who are innovative and want to make things better. You will bring your stakeholder engagement skills to enable you to contribute to complex multi-stakeholder programmes of work.
You’ll really appreciate the opportunity to build on your skills in an up-and-coming growth council, and use your experience to improve the way we work.
